Specialists of the branch of Rosseti Siberia – Krasnoyarskenergo provided electricity to several socially significant facilities in the Emelyanovsky district: a new school, a clinic and a military-patriotic camp for teenagers.
For a new school in the village of Emelyanovo, power engineers built two overhead cable power lines, installed a 10 kilovolt (kV) transformer substation, and also installed distribution networks to the school building. At this stage, specialists used horizontal directional drilling technology. This made it possible to preserve the landscape on the school grounds, including the road surface and landscaping elements.
Let us remind you that the old educational institution was closed due to the emergency condition of the building. The new building of Emelyanovskaya School No. 1 is equipped with everything necessary and is designed for 450 primary school students and 100 preschoolers. The total allocated power of the facility exceeds 300 kilowatts (kW).
Also, a new clinic was built in Yemelyanovo, for the connection of which power engineers installed cable and overhead power lines with a voltage of 10 kV, as well as distribution networks with a voltage of 0.4 kV. Their total length was 11.5 km, and the allocated power of the facility was 950 kW. The new equipment will provide reliable power supply not only to the new clinic, but also to the residents of the village.
The work included crossing power lines across the Kacha, for which specialists developed an atypical solution: they assembled and installed poles of increased height across the river using special extensions.
Another facility that Rosseti Sibir connected to the power grid is located outside Emelyanovo. This is a permanent military-patriotic camp for teenagers of the ZaDelo social movement, in which schoolchildren are taught elements of basic military training, practical survival skills in field conditions, the basics of first aid, and lessons on physical training and patriotic education.
To ensure uninterrupted power supply to the camp, power engineers installed two cable power lines and installed a complete transformer substation with a capacity of 160 kilovolt-amperes.
“Every year, new schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and residential buildings are built according to national projects. Energy workers are actively involved in their implementation, since the technological connection of socially significant facilities is one of the priority areas in the work of the energy company,” said Evgeny Sinitsyn, head of the department for the long-term development of the branch of Rosseti Siberia – Krasnoyarskenergo.
