The court will consider the case of organizing an underground casino in 27 premises in Tomsk and Seversk. The income of the criminal group amounted to 1.6 billion rubles. This was reported by RIA Tomsk with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
The deputy prosecutor of the Tomsk region approved the charge to the 51-year-old organizer of the criminal group and seven its participants. Among them are three men and five women. All of them are the inhabitants of Tomsk and Seversk.
“According to investigators, in the period from 2016 to June 2024, the accused was part of an organized group created by one of them for illegal gambling activities. In 27 premises in the cities of Tomsk and Seversk, they under the guise of transactions with bills and bookmaker, using computers and special software, actually conducted gambling, ”the press service said.
One of the accused agreed to cooperate with law enforcement officers and concluded pre -trial relations. During the preliminary investigation, funds, expensive cars and other property of the accused were arrested for 650 million rubles.
