According to eyewitnesses, due to a power outage in the elevator of one of the buildings, a mother and a small child were stuck in the elevator; the Ministry of Emergency Situations was called to the scene,” the public writes.

Context

In the last three years, blackouts have occurred mainly in Ukraine after Russian shelling.

In an interview with Ukrinform published on October 1, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrey Gnatov said that Ukraine will find the capabilities and weapons to carry out a blackout in Moscow in response to Russian shelling.

Before this, on September 27, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine would symmetrically respond to Russian energy attacks. “If they threaten a blackout, for example, in the capital of Ukraine, then the Kremlin should know that there will be a blackout in the capital of Russia,” he said.
