A British Airways aircraft flying from Istanbul to London asked on Thursday the emergency landing at the “Henri Coandă” International Airport, after the presence of smoke was constant. All people on board were evacuated. Four of these accuse smoke poisoning and receive medical care.

According to the Ministry of Health, the crew reported “smoke releases on board”, which is why it was decided to land. After landing, the presence of the smoke was confirmed, and all those on board were evacuated.

“Four passengers accuse bad states, possibly intoxicated with smoke, and receive on -site medical assistance,” the Ministry of Health said.

The aircraft landed safely at 18:14, according to representatives of “Henri Coandă” International Airport. There were 142 passengers on board.
