A young member of the Azov* battalion from Krasnoyarsk will await trial at home

A 17-year-old member of the Ukrainian nationalist association from Krasnoyarsk was sent under house arrest. This was reported to the Investigative Committee.
Today, October 9, the Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk, at the request of the investigation, chose a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for a period of 2 months for a young man accused of participating in the activities of a banned organization.
According to investigators, in April 2024, a young Krasnoyarsk resident, being a supporter of the Ukrainian paramilitary nationalist association “Azov”, recognized on the territory of the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization whose activities are prohibited, began communicating via messenger with a member of the organization and ultimately joined its ranks in order to fight against the current political regime in Russia.

The guy declared his readiness to participate in the activities of the Azov battalion and place its symbols and attributes in public places. From April to August 2025, he provided members of a paramilitary nationalist association with information about the headquarters of a volunteer detachment that collects humanitarian aid for Russian military personnel.
In addition, the teenager provided one of the participants in the terrorist organization with the personal information of his relative, a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces, located in the combat zone.
A criminal case was opened against the guy under Part 2 of Art. 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an organization that, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, is recognized as terrorist).
*The organization is recognized as terrorist, its activities are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation.
