The US Senate approved the nomination of Thomas Rose as an ambassador in Poland

Thomas Rose was appointed by President Donald Trump the new US ambassador in Poland in February. In September, he received the support of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, although he was not supported by any Democrat politicians.
Rose is a right -wing journalist and radio commentator and former adviser to vice president Mike Pence, known from strongly pro -Israeli views. Before the nomination, he ran the Bauer & Rose Show radio program.
The package over which senators voted contained 108 candidates for various positions, including ambassadors. Thanks to the changes to the regulations introduced by the Republicans, it is possible to vote on all groups of presidential nominees.
