In Krasnoyarsk, the court recognized a former specialist in technical control and diagnosis of vehicles guilty of receiving bribes and sentenced to real deprivation of liberty.

It was established that in 2022, four Krasnoyarsk entrepreneurs involved in city and suburban passenger transportation offered him and the traffic police officer for money to help them to undergo inspection of buses with serious malfunctions in order to let them out onto the line.

“The case was not for consent and the dishonest scheme was launched into the stream. The State Inspector and the technical control expert from time to time, without checking the nodes and details, stamped diagnostic cards about the undergoing inspection by vehicles that do not meet safety requirements. For two years of criminal cooperation, they received over 1 million rubles from merchants, ”the prosecutor’s office said.

Pre -trial agreements were concluded with a technical expert and one of the entrepreneurs, they gave detailed testimonies about the circumstances of the crimes committed.

“The traffic police officer installed a“ dachshund ”for carriers and told me which buses to“ skip ”,” the expert said.

The court sentenced him to receive bribes (paragraphs “a”, “c” of part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) to 4 years in a maximum security colony with confiscation in the income of the state of the equivalent of a bribe. After the release, he will be forbidden to conduct inspections of transport and give out coupons for another 4 years.

A criminal case against an employee of the traffic police (paragraphs “a”, “c” of part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and one of the attachment entrepreneurs (paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) Located in court proceedings.

The other three bribe takers were exempted from criminal liability due to cooperation with the investigation, they voluntarily reported to the transfer of a bribe to law enforcement officers.
