The extreme right, which presents itself as a party to respect institutions, has always participated in similar consultations. An extreme left refused them. This time, however, the RN accused Lecorn that his conversations were not intended to protect the interests of citizens, but only to protect the interests of President Emmanuel Macron.

The RN, which has recently enjoys high support in the polls, calls for the parliament to solve and write new choices, as well as to Macron's resignation. Bardella said on Tuesday that he was ready to be a prime minister if the RN obtained the ruthless majority in parliament after any elections. At the same time, he allowed that in the new parliament he would agree on the government with the right -wing party Republicans (LR).

On Monday morning, Lecorn resigned. Then Macron entrusted him with a mission of conversations, the purpose of which is to “define the plane for activities and stability for the country.” Lecorn's last chance has time until Wednesday evening.
