Krasnoyarstsev was called to vote for a new design of a five -hundred -piece banknote

In Russia, online voting for symbols for a new banknote is held with a face value of 500 rubles.

Each participant needs to choose two symbols: for the front side of the bill-from the attractions of Pyatigorsk and for the back-from the objects of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District (the list includes Famous monuments, historical and modern buildings, objects of cultural heritage). All symbols received the approval of experts of the advisory council on banknote.

The attractions that will gain the largest number of votes, artists of the Bank of Russia and Goznak will be used in the development of the composition of the banknote. The design of the bill includes the first and second -plan images, as well as background images and microrisuks, all of them will be located on a banknote, taking into account protective elements. The final design will be approved by the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia.

“I suggest Krasnoyarsk residents not to stay away – to take part in the vote. The choice of the most recognizable attractions and simply beloved places in the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District, in its capital-Pyatigorsk, are offered to choose from. The appearance of the new banknote will depend on our activity, ”said Manager KRasnoyarsk branch of the Bank of Russia Sergey Zhuravlev.

Online voting takes place on the Bank of Russia website until October 14.

A new banknote of 500 rubles will stand on a par with other bills that have been modernized. They are issued in accordance with a single concept: one banknote – one federal district. Recall that in circulation there are already updated 100 and 5000 rubles. And at the end of the year, the Bank of Russia will present 1000 rubles in a new design.
