“This is the biggest attack on Lviv.” The head of the Ministry of National Defense speaks directly
The head of the Ministry of National Defense announced that during the last attack on Ukraine Poland raised its F-16, there were also allied F-35 of the Dutch Royal Air Force. He added that all air defense grounds, anti -aircraft, anti -cancer and antimicular defense were launched.
“All measures and forces that were appropriate to the decisions of the operational commander were currently launched at night. They completed their activities, there were no infringements of the aircraft in the territory of the Republic of Poland,” said Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz.
He added that the situation in Western Ukraine, a frontal attack is one of the most difficult days for Ukraine defending from February 24, 2022.
Mer Lviv Andriy Sadowy informed that four people were killed in a Russian attack on Lviv, and four more are injured. Currently, the situation in the city has been mastered – transport is working, there is electricity and water.
The night attack on Lviv caused an explosion of several fires, including in the Sparrow industrial park. Some city districts have been deprived of electricity. An air alarm was announced, and the authorities called the residents to hide in a safe place and close the windows. The alarm was canceled after 8 Polish time.
After 4 am, the Polish Operational Command of the Armed Forces informed that in connection with Russia's attack on the territory of Ukraine, it launched all the necessary procedures. “Polish and allied aircraft operate in our space, and terrestrial air defense and radar diagnosis reached the state of the highest readiness,” Cods said.
On Sunday morning, the RSZ operational command reported that the operation of Polish and allied aviation in Polish airspace was completed in connection with the cessation of Russia's strikes to Ukraine. She added that no violation of the Polish airspace was observed.
During the attacks on Lviv, the goods of the Polish company LPP were also destroyed – although here the details are still unknown.
