Krasnoyarstsev is asked to bring food, warm things and toys for stray dogs

In Krasnoyarsk, the “Give Lapu, Friend” campaign for the collection of food and things for the shelters “Alkin House” and “My Dog” started. The city hall said that its holding was initiated by teenagers of the labor detachment of the head of the city.

From October 6 to 17, in city youth centers they will accept:

  • Dog food: dry, moist, canned food, goodies, cereals (rice, Hercules and buckwheat);

  • household goods: detergents and disinfectants, liquid soap;

  • Inventory for cleaning: garbage and construction bags, gloves, bells, scoops, rakes, shovels, metal and aluminum buckets and basins, sponge, brushes, rags, spatulas;

  • dishes and textiles: bowls, pots, pelvis, blankets, rugs, diapers, beds;

  • Care and accessories: combs, collars, leashes, parasite preparations, rubber toys.

The organizers ask not to bring raw meat, lard and bones. These products without confirmation of storage conditions and shelf life can harm animals.

This fall, the action will be supplemented with educational and creative components. For boys and girls from the labor detachment, a series of master classes on creating toys for dogs from old clothes will be held. The guys will be able to give the pets joy, and things are a second life.

A field lecture with a professional dog handologist is also planned. Teenagers learn how to correctly build contact with dogs, understand their behavior and what to do if an aggressive animal has met in the way.
