Young Europeans lose their faith in democracy, and the lowest support for this form of government is in France, Spain and in Poland – wrote the British daily The Guardian, citing the results of the YouGov survey for the TUI Foundation.


The study showed that only half of young people in France and Spain believe that democracy is the best form of government. In the case of Poland, only 48 percent respondents answered this way.
In turn, the greatest support for democracy among young people (71 percent) was recorded in Germany.
According to the survey, almost one fifth respondents in Italy would be in favor of authoritarian rule in certain, unspecified cases. In Spain, France and Poland, this percentage was 23 percent, and in Germany – 15 percent
The respondents also mentioned the most important world powers in their opinion, indicating the USA, China and Russia in turn. Only 42 percent It included the European Union with the three strongest entities on the global political scene.
