Chopin Tower. Another skyscraper will be built in Warsaw

As urbanity.pl emphasizes, Chopin Tower is to become one of the new symbols of Warsaw's Wola. The building, about 130 meters high and 30 above -ground floors, will be built on the corner of Wronia and Grzybowska streets, in the immediate vicinity of Warsaw Spire.
The Belgian developer Ghelamco, known for such investments as Warsaw Spire and The Bridge, is responsible for the implementation of the project. Chopin Tower is to replace the existing pond on the European Square, which will be moved to another place. In return, the developer plans to increase the number of trees and green areas around the building. What's more, the skyscraper will be connected by an underground garage hall with the 184-meter The Bridge. The new office building will also contain space for trade and services.
According to urbanity.pl, over 400 square meters of biologically active surfaces will be built on the roofs and roofs of the building. In addition, rainwater will be collected in special tanks and used to water the vegetation. The spatial development plan, adopted in 2014, allows the implementation of this type of investment. The investment was outside the priorities of the Belgian developer. The last architectural concept of the skyscraper was presented in 2023 at the Mipim International Real Estate Fair in Cannes.
The company has not yet disclosed the final project or construction schedule of Chopin Tower. It was originally assumed to start work in 2025, but now 2027 is to be a more likely time.
