Information about the reason was provided by Lithuanian airports (LTou). Currently, aircraft are redirected to other airports, including in Kaunas and Riga. In turn, a plane from Turkey was directed to the airport in Gdańsk.

The airport authorities are currently examining the exact cause of interference and try to restore the possibility of landing in Vilnius. Probably near the airport there was an unknown balloon for heated air.
