Tragedy in Vrancea County. A child of about three years was found lifeless, on Saturday afternoon, in a channel in the city of Mărășești. Police officers opened an investigation.

The incident was reported by appeal to 112, and the police officers of the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate started the investigations.
From the preliminary information, there are indications that the death could have been caused by a canine attack, but the exact cause will be determined after the necropsy performed by forensic doctors.
“Today, October 4, at 3:54 pm, the police officers of the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate were notified by appeal to Snuau 112, regarding the fact that in the area of Mărășești, in a channel, the body of a child aged about 3 years was found. IPJ Vrancea transmitted.
The exact cause of death is to be established by the forensic doctors within the County Legal Medicine Service, after the necropsy.
The investigations are continued by the police, under the coordination of the case prosecutor, to establish all the circumstances in which the tragic event occurred.
