Krasnoyarsk climbers took Gold at the Russian Championship

In Ingushetia, the championship of Russia in mountaineering in the pioneer class ended. Seven teams from the seven regions of the country took part in the competition.
Gold was won by athletes of the Krasnoyarsk Academy of Winter Sports Artyom Pivovarchik and Yegor Matveenko, along with the representative of the Voronezh region Tikhon von Shtakelberg. The second and third places were taken by teams from St. Petersburg.
The national team of athletes from Krasnoyarsk and the Voronezh region made the pioneering along the route 6A of the complexity category along the center of the southern wall of Mount Koiza-Loam. Its height is 3 192 meters.
Recall that in September of this year, in Vladikavkaz, the Krasnoyarsk climbers Yegor Matveenko and Mikhail Teply became Russia's champions in the rock class, and in the female part of the competition, our other athlete Marina Popova in the team with the representative of the Samara region became the second.
Earlier, in February 2024, Krasnoyarsk climbers Evgeny Korulin, Yegor Matveenko and climber from the Voronezh region Tikhon von Stackelberg became the silver medalist of the Russian Championship in the technical class. In April 2024, the same team won the Russian championship in the ice and snow class-she was given first place for climbing the top of the coats.
