The government is very stable, as well as the ruling coalition, because PSD and PNL understand each other very well, the president of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, said at Europa FM.
Asked if next week will negotiate the formation of a new government, the UDMR leader denied. “No, at all. The government is very stable, the coalition is very stable, because PSD with PNL are very good. They have an exercise of three years, if I am not mistaken, of governance together. Of course, the actors have changed, but that does not mean that the two parties are not understood. Of course there are some discussions, I see what I see, It was no longer of great importance, ”said Kelemen, quoted by Agerpres.
The leader of the Union believes that the current coalition will withstand until 2027, the Social Democrats having no interest in departing from power, and then they will take over the head of the Executive.
“I am convinced that the PSD has every interest in taking over the governance of 2027, that they wanted rotary. This is on the one hand. On the other hand, if you want to lead the government, you do not leave the government, that afterwards it may not be possible to return. So they will not leave and the rotary is done in 2027,” said the UDMR leader.
Kelemen Hunor is of the opinion that the future prime minister will be the PSD president.
“Who will be the president of the PSD, I suspect. Now that is not my job. (…) I am not allowed to have preferences. That the one who will be nominated by the PSD, in 2027, will be designated, ”explained the UDMR leader.
