The National Meteorological Administration warned, through an information valid throughout the country and five yellow and orange codes for the southern half of Romania, that the weather worsens with very low temperatures, important rains, strong wind and blizzard.
Weather information of rain for the whole country
From Thursday, 10:00 until Saturday, at 8:00 pm, the weather will be particularly cold in most of the country, with maximum temperatures between 7 and 17 degrees and minimums between 0 and 10 degrees, lower in eastern Transylvania, warns the National Meterorology Administration in the transmitted information.
From the morning of Thursday the rains will be gradually expanding from the southwest, throughout the country. Important amounts of water will accumulate, 25 … 50 l/sqm, and in the southern regions of over 70 … 90 l/sqm.
In the mountain there will be mixed rainfall, and at altitudes of over 1500 m it will be temporarily snowy and snow layer will be deposited.
Temporarily, the wind will have intensifications in the south, in the east, in the mountains and isolated in the rest, with speeds, in general, of 45 … 55 km/h, and in Muntenia and Dobrogea over 60 … 70 km/h.
Yellow code
From Thursday morning until Friday morning, there will be quantitative rains in the west of Muntenia and the south of Banat. The quantities of water will be 25… 35 l/sqm and locally 40… 50 l/sqm.
Orange code of significant rains of rains
Also from Thursday morning until Friday morning, in Mehedinți, Dolj, Olt, Vâlcea and Gorj counties it will rain quantitatively and 50 l/sqm water will accumulate.
