The package of measures for the administration, priority for the end: “It is very important to approve them”

The Minister of Finance said on Wednesday, October 1, that the adoption of the measures package for the administration represents the priority of the Government, which is delayed by almost a month. The official said that the discussions on this subject have advanced and hopes that the package will be announced as soon as possible.

Asked about the stage of discussions regarding the economic relaunch package, Nazare stressed that, for now, the emphasis should be placed on the administration reform, initially included in package 2.

“It is very important to approve the administration package, but we also consider the measures of simplification and debirocratization. They do not have to generate too much tax impact, because we do not allow ourselves”, the minister explained.

Regarding the amounts that the state could have obtained from the implementation of the administrative reforms, Nazare said that they will be communicated only after the adoption of a final draft.

“I will not make an indicative evaluation. We will provide the exact figure when we have a final draft”, said the official.

Regarding the PSD measures of economic relaunch, the minister stressed that the decisions should be discussed first in the coalition.

“We all want economic relaunch, but we must have a tax space to achieve it”Nazare said.
