
Hieroglyph “Gold, Money” became a symbol of the outgoing year in Japan
There are several reasons for this choice at once: the successes of Japanese athletes at the Games in Paris, corruption scandals in Japan and the inclusion of gold mines on the island of Sado in the UNESCO heritage list.
The choice is traditionally engaged in the Association of checking hieroglyphic literacy.
Last year, the Hieroglyph of the year in Japan was the “Tax” sign, and in the before last – “Battle, War”.
