Soldiers of the “front” country will come to Poland

10 Lithuanian soldiers already serve in the Corps command. According to Business Insider Polska, representatives of the Corps, During the year, this number will double and in a long perspective it is to be a total of 30-40 people.
Ultimately, Lithuania is to be the so -called Corps frame country – currently Poland, Denmark and Germany have this status. Recently signed Agreement on granting Lithuania the status of a framework state within the body. The agreement was signed by representatives of troops from the framework of the Corps and the commander of the 1st Division of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Aurelijus Alaskauskas.
“Each action that happens in the structures of the Corps increases the security of the entire area of northeastern Poland, as well as the Baltic countries,” says the commander of the Multinational North-East Corps in Szczecin, General of Arms, General Dariusz Parlak.
Lithuanian General Arturas Radvilas has recently been holding the position of the Chief of Staff for Civil and Military Cooperation and Strategic Communication at the Corps in Szczecin. He corresponds to, among others for fighting disinformation.
“The Corps in Szczecin is a very important structure for Lithuania, because it is guarding the Baltic region and our country,” Gen. Radvilas said recently.
Corps command is a key NATO unit in the Baltic region. In the event of a war or crisis, the body located in Szczecin is to take over command of the alliance in the north-eastern flank. About 400 people serve in the Szczecin headquarters – they are soldiers from various NATO countries, primarily from Poland, Denmark and Germany – but also from the USA, Canada, Italy or Great Britain.
