The Russian government extended the ban on gas exports on Tuesday. It will apply to all market participants by the end of 2025 – the Russian daily “Kommersant” said, citing information on the official government telegram channel.

The Kremlin warned earlier that the ban on gasoline exports in force since August will be extended to the end of the year and will be extended to diesel oil (it will not be able to be exported by companies other than producer).
In recent months, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian oil infrastructure, refineries and warehouses. According to Western observers estimates, the attacks deprived Russia about 20 percent. production capacity. As a result, there was a lack of fuel at gas stations in the country. A particularly difficult situation prevails in the Russian Far East.
From March 1, in Russia, gasoline was banned by entities other than producers – reminded “Kommiersant”. In August, the government also introduced exports for companies producing gasoline, which was to apply until the end of September. (PAP0
