Robbers from Kemerovo were convicted of abduction of Krasnoyarsk, extortion of 30 million and hijacking

The court found two residents of the Kemerovo region guilty of abduction of a person, robbery, extortion and theft of a car in Krasnoyarsk.

According to the prosecutor’s office, in February 2024, attackers learned that their acquaintance Krasnoyarsk had a cryptocheme with a large amount and decided to assign it by extortion. They arrived in Krasnoyarsk, tracked his car and waited for his friend to be driving. At that moment, taking advantage of the cork, the accomplices pulled the driver out of the passenger compartment by force, pushed into their car, and he was stolen. Then they called a friend of the stolen and demanded a ransom of 30 million rubles. Without waiting for the money, the robbers released the victim, but before that they took him a mobile phone and a wristwatch.

For the crimes committed, the court sentenced the defendants to 10 and 10.5 years in prison.

They will serve his sentence in a maximum security colony.
