Retail funds acquired PLN 8 billion in January, PPK funds – over PLN 0.6 billion, and non-retail funds ended the month with a slight advantage in redemptions (in the order of several dozen million PLN).

Analyzes.pl reported that bond funds have been the most popular among investors for many months, and this was also the case in January.

“In the case of short-term bond funds, the balance of payments amounted to almost PLN 3.6 billion, almost twice as much as in December last year. Once again, the largest domestic fund, i.e. PKO Obligacji Skarbowych Short-Term Fund, turned out to be a sales hit, to which clients contributed almost PLN 1.1 billion (!). Bond funds (long-term) also achieved high sales, which acquired a total of over PLN +1.8 billion, including the largest amount of PKO Obligacji Skarbowych Medium-Term (almost PLN 0.4 billion),” it was written.

In total, in January, 16 funds recorded sales exceeding PLN 100 million and all of them invest on the bond market.

The second place in terms of sales in January were mixed funds, to which customers paid a net amount of almost PLN 1.1 billion. As reported, in this segment, payments were distributed more evenly, mainly going to defined-date funds. Pekao Kompas raised the most capital (+PLN 89 million).

“The podium was also taken by equity funds, which have recorded an advantage in payments since September 2025, but in January it reached a very high level of +PLN 0.93 billion. Unlike in the previous months, most of the funds went to Polish equity funds (a total of +PLN 0.6 billion, and more specifically – to equity funds of small and medium-sized companies +PLN 342 million). Throughout the month, PKO Akcji Rynku Złota acquired the most new funds (PLN 98 million).” – added.

PKO Akcja Rynku Polskiego, Beta ETF mWIG40TR Portfelowy FIZ and Beta ETF sWIG80TR Portfelowy FIZ also acquired over PLN 70 million each. (PAP Business)
