In Kodinsk, the Center for Additional Education of Children (CDOD), with the support of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, held the first district competence championship “Junior Profi”.

More than 70 schoolchildren from six schools in the Kezhemsky district took part in it. To complete tasks in five professional areas, they used computers, 3D printers and other equipment purchased at the expense of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station.

At the championship, a new class of virtual reality was presented, open at the expense of power engineers. The acquired license includes a digital content library, ready VR lessons and technical support. Thanks to a special programming language with ready-made code blocks, the initial work skills in the VR environment can get any schoolboy.

The championship was held as part of the social project “Professional Sample-the Way to the Profession” and was aimed at the early professionalization of schoolchildren in the engineering and technical sphere. Participants aged 10 to 18 years old competed in the competencies “Electrical work”, “Brand manager of tourist spaces”, “Plumbing works”, “Internet of things (smart city), Laser Technologies” and “Engineering CAD design”. All of them received invaluable experience, and the winners were awarded with diplomas.
