The influencer distributed on the network X the article in The Independent with the title ” There will be no criminal accusations regarding the civil complaints filed by four women against Andrew Tate ” and commented on his post:
“Romania? No case. UK? No case. US? No case. 4 months in prison, 3 years in my house. Endless media slander. 25 million dollars stolen from me. They are one of the most mistreated men in history, along with President Trump.”.
Tate's lawyers stated in a previous court hearing that “It is completely denied to commit any illegal fact”, reported, Monday, The Independent.
The four women accused the former professional kickboxer of sexual violence, including grabbing one of them in several occasions in 2015, of assaulting her with a belt and to straighten a gun.
“I concluded that the legal conditions for criminal prosecution were not met and that additional measures should be taken”
The Crown Prosecutor's Office (CPS) service said on Monday that the legal conditions were not met to formulate criminal charges.
“We carried out a new analysis of the file regarding the charges of aggression and rape between 2013 and 2015. After a careful analysis of the evidence provided by the Hertfordshire Police, we concluded that the legal conditions for the criminal prosecution were not met and that no additional measures should be taken. our reasoning ”a spokesman said.
“The evidence is insufficient to provide realistic conviction prospects”
Tate's British lawyer Andrew Ford greeted the decision.
“Despite the intense external pressures, the evidence speaks of themselves in this case, and the crown prosecutor's office has rightly confirmed that the evidence is insufficient to provide realistic conviction perspectives. The reason why CPS has become obvious when the evidence will be presented in the civil procedures. abandoned ”, said Andrew Ford.
The four women filed a civil trial against Tate at the High Court, after Crown Prosecution Service initially decided, in 2019, not to criminally prosecute influencer.
Three of them denounced the father to the Hertfordshire police, whose investigation was closed in the same year.
