The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, addressed a message to the Moldovans in the diaspora, asking them to protect the country, who risk being lost, and emphasizing that Russia is not a friend.

“Please keep the right and peaceful Moldova, because we risk losing it. I know you have heard many scarecrows over time, but now it's different. Now, the regional and global situation is different. Russia is not a friend to us. She attacked a neighboring country for no reason, closed our gas, threatens us, wants to buy our votes and the country. Its plans can only be stopped by the honest vote of Moldovans from all over the world: from the villages of Moldova and from the cities of Europe, from the district centers and the American states ”, said the leader from Chisinau.

The President of the Republic of Moldova urged the Bessarabians from outside his country to vote “honestly”.
“Dear diaspora, by honest vote, you chose the European course. By honest vote, you gave me the confidence to go on this road together. Please, by honest vote, do not let others steal our future. To guard Moldova ”concluded the President of the Republic of Moldova.
Meanwhile, the police of the Republic of Moldova announce that several Moldovan voters have been transported from Russia to exercise their right to vote in Belarus. Authorities point out that they investigate the case to establish and punish the persons involved in this illegality.
In the Republic of Moldova there are parliamentary elections, after which the future Parliament will be elected, which will have a four -year term. The vote can be exercised between 07:00 and 21:00, within 2,274 polling stations, including 1,973 are opened on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, including 12 for the inhabitants of the Transnistrian separatist region. And another 301 works abroad.
