The owner of a well -known manele club in Bihor was detained by the police in Aleşd, being investigated for electricity theft and the without right modification of the energy installations, writes Bihorean. Bihor police said that the deed was discovered on the night of September 20 to 21, during an action with increased herds, attended by police, gendarmes and specialists of Electric Energy Distribution (DEER).

“Police officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Aleșd Police ordered the detention, for 24 hours, in the Center for Retention and Preventive Arrest of the Bihor County Police Inspectorate, compared to a 36 -year -old man, from Măgești commune, Bihor county, investigated for the crime, and the criminal offense, Police chief Alin Laza, spokesman for IPJ Bihor.

The man is called Călin Lele and is the owner of The King Club, a well -known manele in the Aleșd area.

“The research turned out that the man, as an administrator of a public premises in Măgeşti commune, would have used clandestine feeding installations, repeatedly evaded electricity, without this being registered by the meter. At the same time, unauthorized changes have been identified in the measuring equipment and to the components of the energy installations,” IPJ Bihor said.

The sources of the Bihorean publication say that the improvised installation would have worked according to a simple scheme. The electric current was pulled directly from the source from the pillar to the consumer, bypassing the meter, so that the energy was not officially recorded.

Lele was detained on Friday for 24 hours, and on Saturday is to be presented at the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Aleşd Court for the disposition of legal measures.

The lawyer accuses an abuse committed on the customer

On the night of the flagrant, when the police descended into the club, the King was playing Adrian Minune, and the checks would have taken place at the end of the program. In fact, Călin Lele posted on Facebook a filming from the parking lot, in which the music from the club is heard and you can see the police, the gendarmes and the electric representatives.

His lawyer, Ionuţ Radi, reacted publicly, accusing “an abuse” from the authorities. In a video posted on Friday on social networks, he stated that “it is the first time in history when a person is arrested that he would have stolen current”, qualifying the accusation as “unwanted, without any evidence”.

“After a 6-hour hearing, my client, Lele Călin, was detained for 24 hours and taken to the Bihor Police Retention Center. He was detained for an alleged act of electricity theft, an undesirable offense, without any evidence, only with a assumption and with the so-called finding by Electrica,” said the lawyer.

He also criticized the way in which the searches were carried out, claiming that he had been ordered by “a trainee prosecutor without supervision” and wanted to specify that, in the last five years, his client would have won in court all the appeals made against the fines applied by various state institutions.
