Paralympicians from Russia were allowed to speak under the flag of the Russian Federation

The General Assembly of the International Paralympic Committee (MPC) completely restored the status of the Paralympic Committee of Russia.

The vote reported on the website of the IMP, the question was first issued about the full removal of the Russian committee, and then the extension of the validity of a partial removal. Both times most of the delegates voted against.

Restrictions on the Paralympic Committee of Russia were introduced after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.

The restoration of the status of the Russian Committee will allow, among other things, to athletes from the Russian Federation to speak under the national flag.
