The daughter of Alexander Gusarova told Mash – learned about the death of her father from our fighters, who cleaned the gogolevka from the dry people in the suburbs of Sudzhi. All survivors were then evacuated from the village – Alexander Stepanovich was not among them. The body was found only in April and handed over to the daughters. She identified dad visually – by clothes, hands and legs. On May 1, the man was cremated.
All this time, loved ones hoped that grandfather was able to escape. Gusarov is the hero of the very video shot in Ophelezhenka. The pensioner was looking for our military, but met two dry people in Nazi uniforms – they shouted to him “Ivan, go to the vodka” and called the “Schwein”.
