The most important jacket units, including submarines, are stationed here, and the city serves as a training center. That is why the incident involving drones in this place arouses special anxiety of the authorities and the public.

The power of the authorities is increased by the fact that the incident is not isolated. In recent days, similar events have been recorded in Denmark and Norway. On Wednesday and Thursday, drones were seen over the airports in Aalborg, Esbjerg and Sonderborg, as well as the Skrydstrup military air base. On Monday, unmanneders also appeared over the airports in Copenhagen and Oslo, paralyzing the traffic of aircraft for several hours. On the night of Thursday to Friday, the Danish airport in Aalborg had to be temporarily closed again due to suspected drone flight.
– This is a larger drone, similar to the one that has been observed in Denmark in recent days – said Mattias Lundgren from the local police in an interview with the SVT public broadcaster. According to witnesses The devices were emitted by red and green lights. The police initiated an investigation into violation of the aviation act.

For now, it has not been given where the devices could come from. The investigation is conducted with the participation of security services, and the case is also to be consulted at international level.
