Tottenham Hotspur confirmed on Friday that he received an informal taking over from an American consortium, but it was “unequivocally rejected”. The ENIC group, the majority shareholder of the club, has reaffirmed that “Tottenham Hotspur is not for sale and ENIC does not intend to give up the package of shares.”
The proposal came through a simple email, without intermediaries, without proof of the funds and was initiated by Brooklyn Earick, an American entrepreneur with an atypical course: former DJ, current investor in technology and founder of edited RND.
The American consortium has a deadline until October 24, at 5:00 pm (London time), to decide whether or not an official offer will or not.

A close to the Lewis family, which controls the club, transmitted for the British press:
“This unsolicited and useless interest does not change the family's decision and commitment to do everything necessary to ensure success on the field. The club is not for sale.”
Speculation about a possible transaction appeared especially after Daniel Levy's departure (63 years old), who drove the club for almost 25 years. However, the new non-executive president, Peter Charrington, has reiterated the long-term ennic commitment, wanting to build a new success after the Europa League triumph, according to Skysports.com.
Coach Thomas Frank, firm reaction to the club's management: “I felt a stable environment”
Tottenham's new coach, Thomas Frank (51 years old), commented on the situation and insisted on internal stability:
“From the beginning, the Lewis family was very transparent and clear: the club is not for sale. I felt a stable environment, and for me and for the players it matters to focus on the field.”
The Danish technician added that his interactions with the Lewis family were “good” and that there are no signs of insecurity inside the club.
Who is Brooklyn Earick?
Brooklyn Earick, 41, is an American entrepreneur from the Technology Industry, founder of Plain RND and the Algorith Capital investment fund. In the past he flirted with music, signing a contract with Warner Records and singing at the Sundance festival.
After a while, he completely changed his career, obtaining an internship in NASA, in the division dedicated to small spatial ships. Recently, he tried to buy the Maserati team from Formula E, but the negotiations were not completed.
On Instagram, Earick posted a photo from Spurs's locker room on Friday, along with an inverse count to the deadline on October 24th.
