A meeting with American commanders is to take place in the database of the Marine Corps in Virginia next week. “This extremely unusual directive has been sent to virtually all the highest military commanders around the world,” writes “The Washington Post”.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed on Thursday that Pete HegeSeth “will turn to military commanders at the beginning of next week.” However, he did not reveal any additional details.

According to “The Washington Post”, there are about 800 American generals and admirals in the United States and dozens of other countries. The order of HegeSeth, according to people familiar with the case, applies to all older officers as a brigade general or higher, or their counterparts in a navy, performing commanders, and their advisers.
