Six giant soms, which are on the verge of disappearance, were caught and released in Cambodia
The length of the caught fish was more than 2 meters, and their weight varied from 120 to 131 kilograms.
Mekong catfish can grow up to 3 meters in length and weigh up to 300 kilograms. Previously, underwater giants inhabited the entire Mekong, but due to excessive catch and construction of dam, their number decreased by 80%.
