The life of the 59-year-old technology of the institution tragically broke off in July 2024. The man performed planned repair work at an altitude of 1.3 meters, but at some point he could not hold balance and fell, receiving a deadly traumatic brain injury.
The prosecutor's office became interested in the case and, after the establishment of all circumstances, helped the man’s family achieve justice.
“The audit showed that the tragedy could be avoided. The theater in pursuit of savings neglected the security of the employee – for high -rise work instead of professional equipment, unsuitable improvised means were used, and the technician himself was deprived of mandatory personal protective equipment that could save his life, ”the prosecutor’s office said.
The execution of the court decision on the payment of compensation is under the control of the department.
