The works on the new Dinamo stadium, “in the air”

“I was appointed president of honor. We tried together with the management and the ministry to sign all the documents for the new stadium. Unfortunately, the management has changed and what we signed is no longer valid.

Other things were asked. Solutions have been found at meetings, and now we are waiting for the CNI to give the demolition notice.

We are close to receive the opinion and for the construction. All the documents are at CNI. The CNI must give the demolition order. This is Romania.

However, I trust that due to the help of the Ministry of Interior we will let go. It is not just a stadium, there will be 7-8 Olympic sports that will have training places. It is a multifunctional arena ”, said Ionuț Lupescu, quoted by Digisport.ro.

The construction of the new stadium of 25,000 places in Stefan cel Mare will cost over 100 million euros, and the project should be completed in about 3 years.

On August 1, Sector 2 City Hall had issued demolition authorization For the stadium in Ștefan cel Mare Road.
