Putin is afraid to meet face to face and admit publicly that he wants to continue the war – Zelensky

The person is afraid to sit face to face with Ukraine and the world and openly admit that he strives only for war. But Putin sends delegations that cannot and do not want to stop bloodshed. The president also expressed the hope that the United States will push Russia to the world.

“Today I met with President Trump. We talked about how certain ideas can work. I am very glad of this meeting. We expect America to push Russia to the world. Moscow is afraid of America and always pays attention to it,” Zelensky noted.

On September 3, during a press conference after a visit to China, Putin stated that he did not see the point in meeting Zelensky, but does not exclude its holding, but in Moscow. The Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga called such conditions “consciously unacceptable” and emphasized that at least seven countries are ready to accept the meeting. In response, Zelensky invited Putin to Kyiv.

On September 14, Trump suggested that maybe he would have to intervene in negotiations between the parties, because “Zelensky and Putin hate each other so much that they almost cannot talk.” He admitted that the war, which he was going to quickly complete, turned out to be difficult for him. The head of the White House criticized the insufficient pressure on the Russian Federation from Europe, including due to the purchase of Russian energy resources. He also first publicly called Russia an aggressor.
