He noted that Putin does everything to delay the end of the war, but at the same time avoid pressure. For this, he is trying to demonstrate his supposedly “diplomatic” efforts.

The person is afraid to sit face to face with Ukraine and the world and openly admit that he strives only for war. But Putin sends delegations that cannot and do not want to stop bloodshed. The president also expressed the hope that the United States will push Russia to the world.
“Today I met with President Trump. We talked about how certain ideas can work. I am very glad of this meeting. We expect America to push Russia to the world. Moscow is afraid of America and always pays attention to it,” Zelensky noted.
