In just eight months of 2025, 1619 inhabitants of the region became ill with enterobiosis: of which 10 are adults, the rest are children.
Most often, cases were recorded in Norilsk, Achinsk, Bogotola, the Indrine district, the North-Senisei, Shushensky, Ilan, Kazachinsky and the village of Kedrov.
ENeterobiosis is Contact helminthosis, caused by roundworms (pinworms), which parasitize in the lower parts of the small intestine. The only source of infection is a sick person.
