Nicușor Dan has mediated discussions in Cotroceni, with the leaders of the coalition: “The data shows an improvement in the budget situation”
The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, had on Tuesday, at the Cotroceni Palace, a meeting with the leaders of the ruling coalition, in which he mediated a dialogue considered “Necessary to strengthen the political and economic stability of the country.”

According to the Presidential Administration, the discussions were constructive. The head of state emphasized the importance of maintaining the unit of coalition and continuing the reforms assumed in front of the citizens. The leaders of the ruling parties have committed to manage the differences of opinion through dialog and responsibility, “In the public interest.”
“The Romanians have made sacrifices in recent years, crossing crises that they have not caused. I understand the legitimate dissatisfaction of those who have been forced again to be solidarity. But today, the data show an improvement of the budget situation and we are in a clear stabilization process,” said the President of Romania.
The Minister of Finance presented, during the meeting, the latest data on the budget execution in the perspective of the rectification from the next period. Economic indicators show a positive evolution, which allows the continuation of the governance program without endangering the macroeconomic balances.
Nicușor Dan reaffirmed the support of the presidential institution for the essential reforms in all social fields, reforms expected by citizens and assumed by the current parliamentary majority.
The ruling coalition will continue its activity in the current formula, with the clear objective of implementing the measures provided in the governance program for which it received the trust of the Parliament.
