In relation to the man, they opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 258.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal production of aquatic biological resources). At the trial, the expert recognized the “airplanes” with an instrument of mass extermination of sturgeon species of fish, so the man was sentenced to 1 year 2 months of convention with a probation period of 1 year 2 months.
The prosecutor's office has filed a lawsuit in order to oblige a man to compensate for damage caused by illegal fishing. The poacher will have to pay 500 million rubles. The execution of the court decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
