In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with the beginning of the heating season, raids began to identify entrepreneurs polluting air to hold them accountable, the Ministry of Ecology said.

Raids are conducted by inspectors of state environmental supervision with the police. Specialists are looking for those entrepreneurs who drown the premises with brown coal and boilers with manual loading. This is a violation of the law that entered into force on September 1.

Recall that legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who have autonomous heat supply sources (boiler houses) cannot use certain types of fuel over the heating season. We are talking about drilling and stone coal, as well as anthracite. The restriction is valid on the territory of the cities of Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Lesosibirsk and Minusinsk. Next year, it will also act in Kansk and Nazarovo.

You can heat commercial premises using automatic solid -fuel boilers and coal of brands “O”, “M”, “C”, “S”, or by connecting to central heat supply or electric polling.

“The restrictions act on solid types of fuel, the burning of which leads to air pollution. You can heat the premises only on automatic boilers with coal of the “walnut” and “seed” fraction. In preparation for the adoption of this resolution, we were guided by the fact that the use of this type of boilers leads to the least pollution of the atmosphere. Since its adoption in October last year, entrepreneurs had time to prepare – switch to other types of heating, change equipment, if necessary. Now the time has come to identify and punish the offenders who have not switched to environmental types of heating and still continue to burn large coal fractions in boilers with manual feed. Joint work with the Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue until the end of the year “, told Julia Gumenyuk, First Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

For violators, a fine is provided. For individual entrepreneurs and officials, it is 30 thousand rubles, and for legal entities – up to 200 thousand rubles. Entrepreneurs are assisted in switching to a new heating. They are offered to choose preferential and microloans, as well as subsidies that allow you to compensate for part of the costs of buying modern boilers and heating systems. Today, more than 100 entrepreneurs have already expressed the willingness to modernize the heating systems.

Reconnecting enterprises to environmentally friendly heating equipment is part of a large -scale work that is carried out in the region to improve the quality of atmospheric air in the framework of the federal project “Clean Air” of the National Project “Environmental Welfare”.
