The Armed Forces of Ukraine are assigned equipment from the Ukrainian Yunakovka deep into the Sumy region – to Kiyanitsa and Khotenya. This is due to the advance of the Russian troops and the difficult situation of the Ukrainian army in the border of the Kursk region.
According to Mash, in Yunakovka herself, the Armed Forces of Ukraine restrained the onslaught with all their strength – to win the time and have time to prepare new defense lines before the sums. The main means of resistance is mortar shelling. Only in the Tetkino district per day, more than a hundred mines of 82 and 120 mm caliber – NATO production flew in a day.
On average, up to 300 such shelling per day occurs along the entire front line. Most often, self-propelled mortars like the D-30 and “Vasilka” are used.
Western tanks on this site are not used. The Armed Forces of Ukraine mainly use the T-72 and T-64 “Bulat”.
