SuperLiga: Daniel Pancu, debut with victory at CFR Cluj. Controversy after the only goal of the game with Unirea Slobozia:

CFR Cluj defeated the Unirea Slobozia team, score 1-0, in a match played on Saturday, in Clinceni, in the 16th stage of the SuperLiga.

The only goal of the game was scored in the 42nd minute, when Cordea was launched by Matei Ilie with a pass over the opposing defense and beat Gurău.

Unirea Slobozia – CFR Cluj 0-1

The success was validated after 4 minutes. Iulian Dima and Stelian Slabu, in the VAR room, could not perform the calibration to determine if the player of the team from Gruia was in an offside position, due to the conditions at the Clinceni stadium, so the “central” Cristian Moldoveanu kept the original decision.

The approximately 350 spectators in the stands shouted “thieves, thieves” both when the phase was checked and after the decision was announced.

Thanks to this success, CFR Cluj accumulated 16 points and climbed to 12th place in the ranking. On the other hand, Unirea Slobozia occupies the 11th place, with 18 points.
