The summation from the Minister of Transport
Ciprian Șerban launched a public call, at the end of August, to Metrorex employees who receive the subway increase and who work on the 9th floor of the CFR Palace.
The minister explicitly asked them to give up this increase, which he had cataloged as “immoral”.
“Dear employees of Metrorex who carry out your activity in the ministry building, on the 9th floor. You need to understand that the economic situation is complicated. You have to choose between keeping your immoral bonuses or continuing investments in infrastructure. We are obliged to make roads and highways, railways, subway networks and to develop this. Those who work on the surface, give up the metro increase ”, said the government official, in a message sent on Facebook.
“I also have a solution for those who do not want to give up this immoral increase. I can take those from CNIR in the offices on the 9th floor so that they no longer have to pay a rent of 30,000 euros per month for the spaces where they work. And you, those who work on the surface and collect this Șerban.
