49.1 percent Poles would refuse to fight for their homeland


When asked about readiness to defend the country, almost half of the respondents – exactly 49.1 percent. She replied that she wouldn't take such a step. In turn, 44.8 percent respondents declared their readiness to fight (“definitely yes” – 20.7 percent, “rather yes” – 24.1 percent). 6.1 percent were undecided study participants.
The most skepticism towards the defense of the country can be seen among young people. 69 percent people aged 18–29 would not be a fight (64 percent – “rather not”, 5 percent – “definitely not”). Another 13 percent indicated “rather yes” and 18 percent. There is no opinion.

The differences are clearly divided into gender. Every third woman (33 percent) declared readiness to defend the country, and 55 percent said no. The situation is the opposite among men – 54 percent expressed the readiness of the fight, and 44 percent it would be the opposite of the opinion.
The impact of political sympathies
Readiness to defend Poland also varies depending on party preferences. 56 percent PiS supporters declared participation in the defense of the country, at 43 percent opposing answers. In the KO 49 percent electorate He would like to defend Poland, and 45 percent would refuse.
