The city department of the Nazarovo economy was obliged to pay 85.4 thousand rubles of compensation to the owner of the BMW car, which damaged the car on the pit of the local road. This was reported in the United press service of the vessels of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The incident occurred on March 31 last year on the ring interchange of the street 30 years of the Komsomol. The motorist ran into the pothole hidden under water, which led to damage to the vehicle. As the court established, the size of the pit exceeded the permissible norms.
During the trial, it turned out that the contractor of TSK LLC performed work on the municipal contract in 2023, but at the time of the accident, new tasks for repairing this site were not issued. Moreover, the road workers warned of the extreme wear of the road and the need for continuous coating instead of repairing pits.
The court admitted that it was the City Hall that is responsible for untimely control over the state of roads. The claim to the contractor was rejected – the terms of the contract did not provide for his liability to third parties.
All expenses for compensation for damage fell on the municipal budgetary institution “City Management” Nazarovo. The court decision has already entered into legal force.
