The athletes of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station successfully performed at the qualifying stage of the Russian Spartakiad

The regional stage “Siberia” VII Spartakiad of the RusHydro group was held on June 23-26 in the Rainbow sports complex in Krasnoyarsk.

The tournament was attended by the national teams of the Boguchanskaya, Borean, Zeisk, Novosibirsk and Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station, Krasnoyarskenergosbyt and the executive apparatus of RusHydro. The team of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station reached the fourth team place, winning the medals in three sports.

The program of the Spartakiad included volleyball, all -around, table tennis, chess, swimming and license sport. Military athletes competed in five disciplines-push-ups, pull-ups, press in one minute, running 100 m and 1418 m. The last distance is especially remarkable in that it is dedicated to the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, which lasted exactly 1418 days.

“An annual update of the competition program holds everyone in good tone. To achieve worthy results, you need to constantly train, participate in competitions, look for new promising athletes in the team, ”said Marina Bus, coordinator of the Boguchanskaya HPP.

The team of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station already at the beginning of the tournament celebrated the first victory – the engineer of the hydraulic unit Boris Rozhkov at guide competitions completed 72 tremors and 89 jerks, much ahead of all opponents. In August, Boris Rozhkov will come to Krasnoyarsk again to take part in the final of the Spartakiad.

The staff of the station on social networks actively supported the volleyball team, which in a bitter struggle left the subgroup from first place. In the final, the team of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station beat colleagues from Novosibirsk, and became a silver medalist, losing to the team of the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station. In table tennis competitions among men, the engineer of the operational service Stanislav Kochegarov took 3rd place, in the team standings tennis players from Kodinsk also took 3rd place. The races of the polygravians took place in especially difficult conditions – it took place in the stadium, pouring rain. Despite this, all the athletes showed perseverance and will, fought for the victory before the finish line.

Successful performances by the station team in representative competitions are the result of many years of sports development at the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric station JSC. At the ceremony of the awarding of the winner of the Spartakiad, the team handed over the gold sign of the All-Russian physical education and sports complex of the TRP, to which the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation awarded the head of the department of energy resources Konstantin Shevtsov, an experienced athlete and winner of many competitions, a participant in the final competition of the VI Spartakiad of the RusHydro group in 2024.
