On Saturday, before departure to New York during a press conference at the Warsaw Military Airport at Okęcie, the head of the Presidential International Policy Office Marcin Przedacz informed that President Karol Nawrocki goes to the session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. In the USA, he will also meet, among others with investors and Polonia.
“The main purpose of this visit is, of course, to give a speech before the General Assembly, i.e. before representatives of all countries accumulated in the UN. At the headquarters in New York, Mr. President will deliver, (…) a program speech as to the current challenges facing the world, in front of Poland, in front of our region” – emphasized the minister.

He noted that President Karol Nawrocki will say from our perspective “about the challenges of the nature of security in connection with the aggressive attitude of Russia, with its goals – and this goal is to destroy or rebuild the current security architecture and depart from the world based on the principles of international law to the law based on the law of strength, because in fact Russian policy is guided by this.”
Minister Radosław Sikorski did not fly with President Karol Nawrocki
Asked – whether the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski is in the Polish delegation for the UN session replied that there is one Polish delegation under the leadership of President Nawrocki “and as part of this delegation, the minister of foreign affairs is also a member.”
