The Polish army informed about the tragedy

During the night parachute training in the United States, he had a tragic accident, as a result of which two soldiers of the special troops were killed. The reasons for the incident are the subject of a special commission. The head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and President Karol Nawrocki reacted to the tragedy.

Estonia had previously decided to submit an application regarding the launch of allied consultations pursuant to art. 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty. The NATO Council will meet in this matter next week.

In the meantime, the Kremlin issued a message in which he denied the violation of the airspace of Estonia. However, the message indicates, among others Sweden, which intercepted and monitored Russian fighters with its JAS 39 Gripen aircraft. The enemy machines were heading towards Königsberg.

Helicopter disaster in the USA

Four soldiers of the American army, who belonged to the elite team performing night missions, died in the MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The tragedy occurred on Wednesday, but information about death appeared on Friday to Saturday at night. The causes of the disaster are not known, the investigation is underway.

What will happen today?

On Saturday, President Karol Nawrocki and his wife Marta Nawrocka fly to the USA, where on Tuesday in New York he will take part in the General Debate of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly. According to Presidential Minister Marcin, he will probably meet the UN session with the US Presidents Donald Trump and Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski. There are also plans, among others Meeting with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and with many other foreign leaders, including the presidents of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
