The Russians provoke. Border Guard: Fighters made a low flight over the Petrobaltic platform

Two Russian fighters made a low flight over the Petrobaltic platform in the Baltic Sea – the border guard informed on Friday evening.

The incident occurred on Friday in the afternoon. A spokeswoman for the commander of the Maritime Border Guard Department Katarzyna Przybysz told PAP that fighters flew within the mining platform belonging to Orlen Petrobaltic, violating the security zone.

– It was in the area of ​​the exclusive economic zone. We have been (…) informed to increase vigilance and respond to any other offenses that would affect the violation of the borders of the state. It did not happen, so we did not have to react – she explained.

The Border Guard emphasizes that the incident informed the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and other services. (PAP)
